Mobile Access Setup Guide

Follow the steps below to get started

STEP 1:  Download the app

Search “My2N” on the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android), then install and open it. Look for the black and white My2N icon.

STEP 2:  Enter your activation PIN

Open the app and tap the + (add) button, then enter your activation PIN. When prompted, allow the permissions the app requests: Bluetooth, Location and Notifications. These are required for your phone to find readers and open doors.

Your PIN is valid for 10 days from the date it is issued and can be used once, so please activate before it expires. On Android, also allow the app to run in the background (and, if offered, “lock” it in your recent-apps list) so access keeps working when your screen is off.

STEP 3:  Pair your phone

Pairing can be done at the nearest intercom at a building entrance, or at a reader on Level 3 (gym entrance) or Level 9 (common areas). Following the app's prompt, bring your phone close to the intercom or reader and tap Start pairing. The app finds the device and completes pairing, and you can then open doors throughout the building.  Test it by presenting your phone at the same intercom or reader. If the door opens, you're all set.

Using mobile access

Mobile access is currently active at the entrances, common area amenities, and the lifts.  Once your access is activated, there are several ways to open a door.  Look for the below:

Motion (unlock on approach)

Walk up to the intercom or into a lift with your phone on you and the door opens hands-free. If someone is blocking the camera, touch the Bluetooth icon at the bottom of the intercom screen, Tap in app or use the Card function to unlock.

Using the lift:  When the lift arrives at your floor, it automatically looks for your phone for 10 seconds then releases the floors you have access to. Please allow a moment for this before selecting a floor.  After that, unlock your floor in the My2N app using the Tap in app function.

Touch

Leave your phone in your pocket or bag and touch the Bluetooth symbol on the reader, or on the panels around the common areas.

Tap in app

Press the lock button in the app to open from a distance.

Card

Hold your phone against the reader like a tap card, without needing to unlock the screen.

Troubleshooting

  • Make sure Bluetooth and Location are switched on.

  • If pairing fails, your PIN may have expired or already been used. Ask Building Management for a new one.
