WASTE & RECYCLING

Please dispose of items responsibly.

Do NOT leave rubbish of any kind on common property at any time.

Each floor has a bin room with a recycling bin and access to the bin chute.

The bin rooms are to the left of the lifts in the North Tower and to the right of the lifts in the South Tower.

The main bin room is located on B2 and contains larger general waste and recycling bins. Please contact Building Management for access.

If you are unsure of the options to dispose of an item pelase refer below or contact Building Management.

All costs resulting from the improper disposal of items may be charged to the lot.

There is CCTV in the Waste & Recycling rooms.
Recycling
A Recycling Bin is available in the Waste & Recycling room on your level.
Please refer to the signage in the room for specific guidance on accepted waste items and disposal requirements.
Do not place non recyclables in the bins, cost to remove and dispose of improper items may be charged to the lot.
General Waste
General waste chutes are located in the Waste & Recycling room on your level.
Please refer to the signage in the room for specific guidance on accepted waste items and disposal requirements.
The chute is suitable for bags no larger than 30cm in diameter.
Any costs incurred as the result of inapprpriate items placed in the chute may be charged to the lot.
Boxes & Packaging
Larger waste bins for packaging materials such as cardboard and styrofoam are located in the main Waste & Recycling Room on the ground floor. For access, please contact the Building Management Team.
Please do not leave packaging in Waste & Recycling rooms or on common property. Any costs incurred for removing and disposing of improperly discarded items may be charged to the lot.
Hard Waste
Stonnington Council arranges hard rubbish collection twice yearly. Dates are usually announced in February and August.
For hard waste disposal between those times you can contact services such as 1800 GOT JUNK to collect hard waste.
Leaving any type of rubbish on Common Property is prohibited. The cost of removal an disposal may be charged to the lot.
E Waste
Electronic items such as computer equipment, batteries, discs, power supplies, and similar can be placed in the special ewaste bin located in the in main bin room on the ground floor. For access, please contact the Building Management Team.Please do not leave ewaste on common property or in the recycling bins . Costs to dispose of improperly dumped items will be charged to the lot.
Donations
You can donate your pre-loved clothes to make a difference by reducing the impact diabetes has on Victorians living with the condition and their families. By recycling and donating your pre-loved clothes to Diabetes Victoria you are saving them from ending up in landfill.
Donation bins for clothes are available and can be accessed via Building Management.
Other specific waste types
There is currently a review of options to assist with the disposal of soft plastics and other specific types of waste.
